Anna Paskausky (she), Nurse Practitioner
Primary Healthcare Consulting
Anna earned her Master in Science and Doctorate in Philosophy in Nursing at Boston College. She earned a Bachelor in Nursing Science at UMass Amherst and a Bachelor in Arts at Smith College. She blends extensive knowledge of modern medicine's possibilities and limitations gained from over 10 years of clinical practice with the care of a nurse, using her wisdom and research skills as a doctor of philosophy to see how it’s all connected. Anna has served as a nurse practitioner (NP) in primary care and gastroenterology here in Western Mass since 2013. Before becoming an NP, she was a nurse at the VA and Massachusetts General Hospital. She understands the health care system and the people within it both patients and providers and is skillful at bridging the gap between patient needs and the medical system's limitations.
Anna is the creator of Person-Centered Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Consultations. The modality was born out of her identification of the benefits of an unhurried deep connection between patient and clinician and person-centered planning to patient experience, improving both the accuracy of medical diagnoses and treatment outcomes. She practiced this modality for years while working within traditional healthcare settings until recently moving to private practice to grow this novel model.
Anna offers Primary Healthcare Consulting at CLINIC Thursdays 9am- 5pm.
