Christine Pfeil (she), Licensed Massage Therapist
Christine Pfeil (last name pronounced “file”) is a licensed massage therapist committed to full-body wellness. (License No. 18101-MT-MT)
Originally from Philadelphia, Christine spent a decade in Washington, DC, before landing in Western, MA in 2017. She loves calling the Pioneer Valley home, with its mountains, rivers, farmland, bike routes, and incredible community. And, most importantly, its abundance of food-related festivals. (Look for her at Asparagus Fest!)
After an undergraduate education in psychology, and a graduate degree in business, Christine finally (and happily) answered the persistent call towards a career in bodywork. She is a graduate from The Massage School in Hadley, MA.
Christine believes in the transformative power of bodywork, and believes massage therapy can harness the body's innate capacity for restoration. Christine integrates a diverse range of techniques into her practice, including Swedish, neuromuscular, and deep tissue modalities.
Christine specializes in working with clients experiencing neck pain and shoulder pain, and aims to help her clients find relief from chronic pain while increasing mobility.
At her Jesuit college, Christine was taught the practice of “cura personalis” meaning “care for the whole person.” She brings this same care-for-the-whole approach to massage therapy. Each session is tailored to meet the needs of her clients, with the intention to provide long-term healing and balance.
Through the healing power of touch and intentional approaches, she invites her clients to experience the transformative benefits of massage, and the greater well-being and joy that it can provide.
Christine’s prices can be found here.
Christine offers therapeutic massage at CLINIC on Wednesdays and Thursdays 5- 9pm, and Saturdays 1- 5pm.
