What is Shamanic Healing?

Shamanic Healing is the aligning of your personal energy body with the energy matrix of the universe. Shamanic practices are rooted in ancient techniques and are generally universal across the globe. The tools used by a shaman can vary based on the lineage in which they were trained, as well as the refinements made by their own intuition and experience.

Shamanic Healing has many similarities to yogic practices as well as reiki. The main similarity being a focus on the chakras as the energy centers of a human. In this type of healing, the practitioner and the client work together to journey through the veil of this perceived reality to discover what is hidden and what needs healing. The goal being for mind, body and spirit to reach an ideal state in which the client moves through life from a state of clarity and balance.

What can I expect from a treatment or a series of sessions? What do I need to do to

prepare for it?

A treatment session consists of working together to create a space for healing and setting intentions. This is followed by a brief discussion of what has brought you in. During this time I will begin to formulate a course of action for your treatment. After this you will lay on the treatment table and receive the healing work. Most of the work is done without touching, however some light touch is often involved. Following the healing we will debrief about what came up and discuss if further treatment may be necessary. Come prepared to let go of that which no longer serves you. Please limit caffeine and wear comfortable clothes. It is recommended to  have some time set aside for yourself following our session to process. This branch of shamanic healing is not recommended for those who are pregnant or under the age of 18.

Iline Logan offers Shamanic Healing at CLINIC Mondays and Thursdays 9am- 1pm.
